REAR ADMIRAL TED LECLAIR

Rear Admiral Ted LeClair is the Managing Director of Saltwater Leadership. In the military he is Deputy Director for Operations, U.S. Indo-Pacific Command. As a two star Admiral, Ted serves as a reserve joint/combined military operations advisor to the four star Commander. Indo-Pacific Command has an Area of Responsibility that covers the Pacific and Indian Oceans from Hollywood to Bollywood in addition to five of the seven 7 largest militaries in the world. Previously, he was deputy commander of U.S. 7th Fleet, the largest forward deployed fleet in the world. Ted has held five different commands to include two tours commanding gun boats in a combat zone (Kuwait and Iraq).

He earned a BA from Villanova, and master’s degrees from Harvard University’s Kennedy School and the US Army War College. He is the co-author of the book Saltwater Leadership and in his civilian life he is the co-founder of 994 Group an RIA based in Austin, TX. Prior to running Saltwater Leadership and 994 Group, Ted was the director of the Natixis Advisor Academy working with over 20,000 advisors and teams and the largest broker dealers in the world.
